Self Drilling Screws

Self-drilling screws: (also known as TEK screws) is a self-tapping screw with a "drill bit" style point that creates its own pilot hole and forms the mating threads in one operation. Offering economical benefits , reduces labor and tooling costs, reduces or eliminates drill bits and taps.

Available thread types:

Type BSD: spaced threads and drill point used to attach plywood, soft woods or composition board to metal, or attach metal to metal.

Type CSD: spaced threads with a finer thread pitch which reduces friction and driving torques. Normally used with thicker materials.

Available head styles:

indented hex washer head, pan head, modified truss head, pancake framing, pan framing, oval head, flat head, wafer head, bugle head, trim head, and truss head.

Available metals and finishes:

zinc plated carbon steel, black phosphate carbon steel, ceramic coated carbon steel, 410 stainless steel, ultra stainless steel, and 18-8 stainless steel.
